Hey friend, welcome to the Francofest univers!
If you’re here, you might have noticed that most of our website is in French, but no need to panic!
The details of each event is available in english through this page.
Our events
This year, Francofest is presenting a total of eight events, along with a Spotlight project at the Nocturne festival and a program unveiling night in September. While all our events are packed with fun and creativity, some require a certain level of French to fully enjoy the experience.
To help you choose which events are right for you, a note has been added to each event’s description indicating the level of French required. To see the note and all the details, simply click on the event image!
Keep in mind: at every Francofest event, a member of our team will be present who speaks English. If you need assistance, guidance, or a quick explanation, we’re here to help!
Each mention and what they mean:
-
To get the most out of these workshops, performances, or activities, a good understanding of the language is recommended. You can still participate if your French skills are not as strong yet, but keep in mind that you may miss a joke, an instruction, or a warning.
-
Other events are accessible to everyone, regardless of French skills. You can participate, watch, or enjoy these experiences without understanding French, while still soaking in the atmosphere, music, or entertainment.

All Book Fair events are held in French, but this is a great opportunity to practice the language! With books for all ages, families — including children in French immersion programs — will find titles suitable for young readers. The Book Fair is perfect for discovering Francophone literature, practicing reading skills, and exploring French-language culture in a fun and engaging way.
