Les Hay Babies are back with their new album Tintamarre!

📅 Saturday, October 25
📍 Seahorse Tavern, 2037 Gottingen Street, Halifax

Tintamarre! — the live show by Les Hay Babies — is an enchanting experience where rock meets the soulful folk spirit of Acadia. This show is a celebration: country rock, heartfelt, and full of energy. With guitars, iconic costumes, and their signature vocal harmonies, Julie, Katrine, and Vivianne take the audience on a musical journey through the rich soundscapes of the regions they hold dear. And when it comes to Acadia, that always means good times! On stage, they radiate contagious energy through the funny and touching stories of their latest album, creating an atmosphere that is both festive and introspective, filled with smiles, listening, and emotion. Les Hay Babies don’t just entertain — they build an authentic connection with their audience, inviting everyone to experience the stories and rhythms of their homeland, one song at a time.

Opening act: Francofest is excited to welcome Sluice!

Sluice proves that history can rock! This Acadian powerpop quartet brings archival research from Tusket to life with catchy riffs inspired by 90s rock. Their album Archiviste blends nostalgia, pride, and raw energy — the perfect warm-up for Les Hay Babies!

This show is presented by Francofest and Acadian Embassy, made possible with the support of the Government of Canada, the Province of Nova Scotia, Radarts, Coup de Coeur Francophone, Musiaction, and numerous sponsors.
